Frequently asked questions

How much does junk removal cost?

Most single-trip junk removal jobs in the US run $150 to $350. A minimum (one or two small items) is about $100 to $175, a half truck is roughly $300 to $520, and a full 15-cubic-yard truck is about $550 to $1,000. Price depends on volume, item type, access and your location.

How is junk removal priced?

Almost all haulers price by how much space your junk takes in the truck (an eighth, a quarter, a half, up to a full load), not by the hour. Very small jobs may be a flat single-item price. Heavy items like hot tubs and pianos, and tricky access like stairs or long carries, add to the price.

How can I pay less for junk removal?

Leave items at the curb where allowed (often about 25% cheaper than full-service), book a non-urgent slot rather than same-day, donate or sell anything usable first to cut the volume, and always compare two or three quotes.
